Today Lovely Books Shines The Author Spotlight On…
S.E Felida
I was born in curacao, a small Island in the Caribbean. But I’m currently living in Holland with my husband and our three boys, I’m still in school and I’m studying to become a kindergarten teacher. I go to school two times a week and the remaining of the week I am a teacher’s aide at a kindergarten. I’ve always loved to read books and to write short stories and poetry, I began writing at the age of eleven. In my spare time you can find me in the kitchen, on the soccer fields to watch my sons play, reading, writing or having a girls night out with my lovely ladies.

Author Interview
How long have you been writing? When did you decide to become an author?
I’ve been writing for about 19 years, mostly poetry and short stories. I’ve always wanted to be an author but I never really had the courage to publish my work before. Last year when I finished my first book of the Dreams Series I decided to go for it.
How do you find inspiration?
By Listening to music.
How do you go about writing a book? Do you have any schedule, tricks or tips to share?
I just write down every single idea I get before I forget, and try to work it into the story I am writing or save it for another story/idea I might get in the future.
What kind of books do you read? Who is your favorite author?
I love to read all kinds of books, as long as they’re interesting enough to keep my glued to my seat for a couple of hours 🙂 My favorite authors are Stephen King and J.K. Rowling
What are you currently working on?
I’m currently working on the last book of the Dreams Series ”Imperfect Past” and a stand- alone book called The Puppet Master
