Jonette Holmes-Leather spent most of her professional career in Education (mainly in the United Kingdom), working closely with children and teenagers with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Jonette encouraged children with SEN, especially children and teenagers with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), to celebrate their uniqueness, creativity, numerous talents, and ability to achieve their very best.
Even though Peo The Polar Bear is Jonette's first self-published children's book, she has shared her stories with children for over 30 years. Whilst working as a nanny, as a Montessori preschool practitioner, at "too-many-to-count" children's parties and as an honorary story-telling and role-playing "auntie" and babysitter!
Jonette lives in Sweden with her husband, Per-Olof. She is "dreaming up" creative ideas (which simply means MORE BOOKS) to pursue her dreams and generate an income!
