Have you ever asked yourself, "Does God really know me?"
How about "Who did God create me to be?"
Or, "Where is God when I need Him most?"
I know I have. Often, my questions come out in the form of poetry- kind of like the Psalms of David.
At one point of our lives or another, we all ask ourselves and God these questions. We all have ups and downs. There are things we struggle with and don't understand including loss, grief, self-esteem, finances, and various other trials.
Because of that, we all need a source of hope. The Psalms of David all ended with faith in God and declaring his praises.
That's what I hope to do here. I want these poems to be a source of hope. Know that you are not alone. We all go through hard times. However, God is right there waiting for you. You can take comfort in His arms.
God lives in our hearts if we ask him in. That's why I called this book My Heart, Christ's Home. It's because that's where he resides, He is just waiting for us to open up every room of our hearts and minds to His love and His healing power.
